       @gdinwiddie @tuban_muzuru @VeroniqueB99 A claim to fame: Rewound an 8-track tape w/no tools, hitchhiking in ‘68. Built 8-track display cases for gas stations in ‘78 with cassettes on top. The table saw is under a tarp on a patio.

       @tuban_muzuru @stevewfolds @VeroniqueB99 When my 8-track tapes started self-destructing, I opened one of them and wound the tape on a reel-to-reel reel. I used the case to feed the tape into my roommate’s 8-track player on his stereo, and duped it onto his reel-to-reel. I salvaged quite a few 8-tracks that way and put a cassette player in my car.
