The thing with Shinigami Eyes is that outsourcing your first impressions of others to a group of people who have little to no accountability has always been a bad idea.

Anyway, in addition to frequently flagging transmascs and intersex people who speak out about their experiences within the queer community as red, apparently Shinigami Eyes is now sometimes flagging people who speak out *against Shinigami Eyes itself* as red.

I don't have great confirmation of this, I just know several transgender people who've said they've been flagged red after talking about it. Seems bad.

But like, that's one of the core problems with Shinigami Eyes as a concept: it's really hard to find any hard evidence of corruption or prejudice, because of the way it's structured. That's part of why there's no accountability.

I really think having an extension that automatically labels people as Bad is a bigger problem than a shared blocklist. At least with a blocklist, the people who get blocked in error or for the wrong reasons don't have to deal with harassment because of it.
