safety rolls are fun and im starting to get them down after practicing in the grassunfortunately it is dead of winter so my hair and hoodie are now full of leaves and dead grass

turns out the primary issue i was having with technique was. i was diving into it instead of. rolling. which doesn't work. figuring that one out was a wild revelation.

tried it on concrete after being terrified of doing so for far too longwas really easyshoulder hurts because it takes a bit of impact but everything else was perfect! until i came out of the roll and walked directly into a brick wall in front of me!

have spent probably two years on and off trying this until everything clicked that i was diving into it and i just needed to Not Do That. and then it worked. that easy.

@kirakira that's the key behind the roll, and I had that, but my issue was having too much height during the roll because I hadn't landed fully with my feet so I would drop onto my back or otherwise during the roll
