       In 2004 i was 16, gmail was in closed beta, everyone wanted an account, and invites were really hard to find. People were paying hundreds of dollars for them. I had a blogger account i never used but i somehow ended up with a bunch of gmail invites and i found a site where people were trading random stuff for them. One person said they would get any tattoo in exchange for one. I gave them one and said to get a tattoo of max from sam & max and they said sure. I hope they’re doing ok

       After a couple of months inflation devalued my gmail invites but i do remember trading one later on for a giant zip file of scanned guitar tab pdfs
