@thomasfuchs yeah I've got a 486 that looks basically like this, and unless you look closely at the odd set of LEDs, from the top you can't even tell it's a PC

@thomasfuchs It's a neat system! Sadly mine is broken in some why I've not been able to fix yet. It keeps crashing, and then after crashing it won't boot up again unless I leave it alone for a while.Which sounds exactly like a thermal problem but nope, it's not overheating. So there's some weird shit going on with it

@foone That sounds like tired capacitors to me. I have other systems that behaved exactly like that until I replaced their caps.

@hp quite possibly. There's not a huge number of caps on the thing (outside of the power supply, which I was already bypassing), but I could definitely desolder, test, & replace those. Someday
