The new beauty trend is taping your ears forward with little wires so they stick out more (it's youthful! elf-like! old man vibes!) As far as silly beauty trends go, I'll take it. The big ears crew deserves some love. ... and ... please stick with me this will make sense. What if we motorized them? Put some lil' servos and bluetooth back there so you could make them move at will?I think I have just given someone on here their next project. :)#fashion

Thinking of my middle school friend who had... well she had a lot of ears. She was always trying to use her hair to tamp them down. If only she could see this.

@futurebird If I was in a conversation I did not want to be in, and I could have something flap my ears so I could pretend to fly away, I would happily spend money on that stupid thing

@brandonscript I think people just wear them out. I doubt it's a problem. But it might not be great to bend the ears too much. It could hurt.

@futurebird When I was a child, I read a story about a kid who could wiggle his ears. I became obsessed with this, and eventually figured out the necessary muscle isolation.A world where everyone wiggles their ears? Bring it! Let's dance!!

@futurebird It's just contracting the muscles on the scalp behind the ears. I can wiggle my nose, too (focus on keeping your chin still, and move the middle of the top lip from side to side)

@futurebird in an era where catgirls with four ears are normal, how many is a lot?

@futurebird @OriginalLucy can't everyone do this...?i mean there's a little muscle tissue on the skull about an inch or two behind the ear, and if you can get a feel for it and contract it, then it just pulls the ears back a little.(i accidentally found that i could do this one day in my teens when i was trying to open up the eustachian tubes during the increase in air pressure caused by descent on a flight)

@futurebird A good yoga exercise is to learn how to control the muscles moving them (I've seen just a fistful of people doing that, but this means it's possible). This would require some time, so for a while we don't have this people around.

@futurebird To make them move a mechanical solution like for a jumping jack would be possible. Might come integrated with headphone cables.

@futurebird Got your hands full with your lunch and your coffee?Afraid you're work colleagues will think you are rude when they wave at you across the room? You need flappy ears, make them wave back and feel part of the team. But wait... there's more. With integrated bluetooth, you can now stream music directly into the ear canal without any need for ear buds or headphones, the flappy ear accessory will drill directly through the skull and implant itself.(fast voice over) Manufacturer not liable for brain damage, cannot be removed, all your thoughts belong to us

@futurebird great! 😹 I can do this all for free 😹(I have ears that stick out, come to a small point AND I can wiggle them using my own muscles…this took a while to perfect and work because the muscles weren’t strong 😹)It’s so funny how “trends” like this happen 😹

@futurebird Can some of us just genetically engineer ourselves to have pointed elf ears? I'm ready to play a harp in the woods (or remark obsessively about whether things are logical or illogical 🖖, depending on one's vibe).

@futurebird Seems like yesterday people were getting their ears surgically pinned back.To a cat, our ears probably look too unexpressive. Cyborg ears might give you an inside track with the cats.
