       @buffyleigh @sknob what if it was decentralized? what if musicians just had their own sites but like a podcast, their streams could be pulled into any music app you chose, and we paid them via a monthly donation that got divided up based on time spent with each artist, all self managed by our apps and our chosen bank with no data shared? and we had our friends and human DJ/curators to find new music?the problem is rarely the tech but how capitalism pushes us to use it poorly.
