@jaeI really dig desktops that look cohesive. It's really good when you can use multiple apps that use the same toolkit and just look like they belong.#tomatoBookReturned to Arch since I want the l8st and gr8st with a good/healthy community/maintainership.Still have some gripes that are just a me-issue.

@mischievoustomato when running linux i'm on arch as well. nix, alpine, etc just didn't fit my requirements. some people are scared of arch, i'm not sure why. i'd be more afraid of nix for someone newer to systems.

@mischievoustomato it's bricked 3x for me. 1x was gpg keys being revoked and breaking aur and i wasn't sure at the time how to fix. the other two times i broke it and recovered.

@mischievoustomato i think as long as you don't do anything you can't back out it's fine. maybe just have backups of dots+data and then it's trivial to restore.
