       @kaixin it's not related to suspend, but just locking (for example, if I go away). It seems that when the lock screen appears, something locks. It wasn't doing this yesterday, so it must be something that appeared in yesterday or today's updates

       Sorry I misunderstand. If it is locking screen, could it be that the screen is already locked? Did you try typing you password and ENTER? Or can you switch to tty and check ps for possible processes? As a last resort, you can also try ssh into the host and try pkill X to decide if is related to the X session.

       @kaixin It's not related to X as I'm using Wayland. The screen locks, but it hangs there. The monitor doesn't dim, the clock stops working. I can't ssh into the pc, I can't switch screen or kill. Everything's frozen. I'll retry tomorrow, to debug it.

       Huh that's weird. why would a screen lock stops everything. Looking forward to what ever you will find out.
