       @leechindustries I've been living in isolation without human touch for coming up on six years. I'm increasingly isolated from people who find my existence uncomfortable so they drop me from their lives. The logistics of living like this are tough. I have a wobble every now & then.If science comes through & makes a bigger life possible, I'd be thrilled, but I can't bank on it.I'm braced to live like this until I die alone.It's brutal. It's still better than Covid.

       @leechindustries I'm focused on surviving, a surprisingly all-consuming task, at least in a world that pretends the pandemic doesn't exist.After that, I'm focused on supporting people I know & care about who are struggling (a tight Venn diagram). And outward from there.I don't have too many feelings about this stage of the never-ending pandemic, because I can't afford them in my no-touch, unsupported state. I consider feelings to be a luxury for people who have stable lives.I'm exhausted.

       @nobody @leechindustries If people are wearing ill-fitting, low grade masks, they are unvaccinated, and they are frequently indoors around others in unventilated spaces with unfiltered air, there will always be high rates of asymptomatic transmission.
