finished playing Luigi's Mansion 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/3VKFTNXZbJCQ9t7jmsFaFmThis game is the perfect mix of a unique idea and complete "jank" in terms of gameplay. I always wanted this game as a child though never came across it or anyone who owned it in their #Gamecube collection. Though even now completing it for the first time 20 some years later it is still a lot of fun in what it offer even if some of the room puzzle are just obtuse even with reading everything in game. You can tell they really wanted to hide how short this game is. Even with all that said I wish more games would have unique gameplay experiences like this one. I played the PAL version with a 60FPS patch so I still have the Hidden Mansion mode to come back to later. Though after getting all 50 Boos and beating the (rough) final boss I can say I have my fill of this game at the moment. Even though it is mission based I am curious what the second game offers will probably give it a fair shake once #3DS every gets #RetroAchievements.

@rain I think that is just how games where back then. You should play paper Mario. Lots of odd puzzles and whatnot.

@bhhaskin@social.bitsofsimplicity.com Most definitely, it also being a lunch title for NTSC regions plays a part in its design as well. As for Paper Mario I have played most titles in the series to some degree though the first one for N64 is definitely on my list to finish as it always eluded me.
