@changelog I think it depends. If you enjoy trying and learning new things and see it more as a hobby then as a platform to do work, then more power to you. If it isn't a hobby and you just need to get work done, then I can see the merit in sticking with a single distro that gets the job done.

@BrodieOnLinux Linux isn't hard and will work great for most people's needs. It's usually the distro that is the issue.

It's weird that people are recommending Signal over XMPP and apps like Conversations. Not only does it have E2E encryption it can also be self hosted and is cross platform. You also don't need a phone number. It's like an email address or mastodon account. #xmpp #conversations #signal
