Why not use ActivityPub (as well as RSS) to give citizens more ways to get the info being updates on public websites?You could equally argue that governments should have public broadcast that work and are regularly updated and should leave the net entirely. @strypey Well, I use the web interface of my Mastodon instance - so Mastodon would need to grow the ability to follow RSS feeds for that to work.Having gov websites implement AP seems better to me, especially as capable software already exists.@pearofdoom @Nickiquote
