       I put in a bid for an APRA award (Grammy) for my score in The Correspondent & they didn’t even acknowledge the submission which was a big Fuck You Award.So I’m happy/stressed that the music score just got a nomination for an AACTA (Oscar). That’s a 1/4 chance now.Whether or not I deserve it - it’s a win for a fully electronic film score and that’s a cool thing for all of us making bloops so please send positive brain bribes to the judges.        @lardmotel good luck! I finally watched the movie on Friday night, it was great. Music was a bit quiet though I couldn't hear much of it due to late night watching TV with the sound at a low level and subtitles on. "Pensive music playing" in place of actually hearing what you did. Hope there's an OST one day...

       @lardmotel Good luck! I still haven't seen the film but it's on my list. I very much enjoyed "The Illustrated Family Doctor" way back when and the score for that was very effective at setting the mood.

       @dj2mn a lot of it is pretty low oberheim frequencies so you need the big speakers or the cans. I dunno about OST as they bought the rights so not mine any more. They could use it for cat food ads.

       @Undercat it belongs to Netflix for the moment but Netflix has regional screening so I don’t know if it will ever be seen in your area. I don’t think most Americans would be interesting the story.Soundtrack something we all need to practice…

       @lardmotel I definitely don’t qualify as “most Americans” and I’m doubtful it’ll show up on streaming here so I may end up ordering it on DVD. Presumably that’s still an option.
