       Today I learned that John Philip Sousa was opposed to recording music. Therefore, out of deep respect for the late Mr. Sousa, I shall refrain from playing or listening to any recordings of his compositions. Furthermore, I ask you not to play any of them in my presence. I believe we owe him this basic measure of respect. 😃
