@Nonilex after exonerating all the ilk that stormed the Capitol to denounce the democratic process, singling out one guy that planted bombs that didn't work seems ridiculous. Had he tamped his enthusiasm a bit and placed them on the day everyone else was beating cops over the head with Old Glory he'd be joining ICE with the rest of America's finest.

@Nonilex Apparently the FBI says they have identified him using cellphone data. Hopefully this is real, this lose end has always been ugly. I would like to know who he was working with— who did he talk to online?Some people are surprised he’s a black guy but there have always been a few like him in that movement. It could be awkward if he’s friends with some of the people who have since been pardoned.

@gleick @futurebird I don’t think Trump has pardoned him. He placed the pipe bombs on January 5th, 2021, NOT on the 6th.Trump’s pardons were specifically for actors & actions on the 6th at the Capitol.

@Nonilex @futurebird Still, I think his lawyers would have a strong case that “all other individuals convicted of offenses related to events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021” includes the planter of bombs in preparation for or in support of the deliberately vague “events.”
