       I am in a suburb of Brussels called Zaventem and it is far more modern and sophisticated than any of the cookie-cutter villages I’ve been to in Germany.However, it’s interesting that I have become spoiled by how well Germans drive because Belgians are TERRIBLE drivers. Wtf is up with the tailgating? I’ll brake-check a motherfucker all day long.But it sure is lovely here by my hotel. Ok… tschüssy!

       @Unabart In Brussels, years ago, I was told that when driving down a Main Street, don’t be surprised if someone drives out of an alley at full speed, without stopping, right into the Main Street.

       @Unabart I read years ago that if driving in Italy and you’re in an accident, you have to jump out and start yelling and cursing at the other driver, who will do the same. A crowd will form and they will take sides based on performance. When police arrive to place blame, the crowd will support their favorite and yell at the police to blame the other driver. Usually works. I’ve never been there.

       @dadakopf Having nearly been carjacked in Naples, I just keep driving. It'll be their fault, guaranteed. They'll be happy to see me leave. I'm always in a rental, with the full-boat insurance package. I've returned three damaged rentals in Naples. It's fkn fury road down there.

       @dadakopf Yeah. Disturbingly dirty. You can search for Naples Trash on you tube for a glimpse. Mind you... a glimpse. The reality is far worse.
