What's the common wisdom regarding #Ubuntu #Linux and systemd-resolved, dnsmasq, and NetworkManager?Had a weird thing happen where a #Wireguard tunnel didn't go up but DNS was still trying to connect to the DNS server over the WireGuard tunnel and was failing. Is there any way to stop the DNS madness? It looks like they're both clobbering each other.

@pertho@bsd.cafe systemd is the madness in my eyes. Unfortunately I cannot help you with your problem but recommend you to use a system that doesn't use systemd. #FreeBSD is what I use and I have no issue with dnsmasq nor wireguard. Give it a try.

@bubbleb74 Thanks, I'm already a FreeBSD user but unfortunately I don't have the option to switch as it's not my machine.
