In a few days the parts for my new computer will arrive. I've been running #linux (#debian and #ubuntu) on my servers and laptops for 20 years, but this'll be the first time I've had it on my primary desktop. My main concern is game compatibility. I have a Steam Deck, and most stuff runs just fine, but I'm a bit leery of going for one of the fashionable "gamer" distros #bazzite et al). I'm thinking of starting with Mint and testing the waters.Any advice?

From friend's experiences, you should be fine. The biggest issue now days is graphics driver support. Most windows games run well, and you no longer have to mess about with individual .dll files thanks to steam.
