The Fairy Tale of the Dancing NursesWhat we witnessed was not traditional propaganda aimed at persuasion, but rather what abuse experts call ‘gaslighting’ on a massive scale. The psychological mechanism was elegant in its cruelty: it presented citizens with an apparent contradiction—hospitals that were supposedly overcrowded on the one hand, yet clearly empty enough for choreographed performances on the other—and then socially punished them for noticing the contradiction. Those who pointed out the contradiction were branded as ‘conspiracy theorists’ [as if that term hasn’t lost virtually all its meaning, except for the normies who still cling to the absurdities of the pandemic™, such as masking, cult-like believes in so-called vaccines, traditional or the modRNA poison/death juices, and the benefits of the mandates], while those who defended the videos unwittingly became pawns in this endeavour [I’m going out on a limb here and I’d like to suggest that the Transgender™ nonsense in the run-up ‘softened’ the public-at-large for this, mainly due to the introduction of the notion of having been born ‘in the wrong body’ and the ostracism of everyone who didn’t affirm™ these kinds of mental illness; I doubt that the Trans™ fever-pitch, which we reached at the height of the Pandemic™, was incidental to this].https://fasteddynz.substack.com/p/the-fairy-tale-of-the-dancing-nurses

This just seems way too overcomplicated. There's another way of looking at the dancing nurses phenomenon that to me at least makes a lot of sense and way more down to earth.Hospitals were empty and people were yelling and cheering outside their homes while banging pots and pans. The nurses were obviously doggedly following all this via their phones and felt bad at the fact they were getting cheered for doing basically nothing. So they were bored, feeling guilty about having undeservedly achieved a minor celebrity role and therefore put on a recorded dancing routine to reciprocate. They wanted the stupid cheering going on outside to mean something and best thing they could come up with was this. It's the exact same thing if strangers around you in the street suddenly started applauding you for no good reason. You'd naturally want to put on a lame dance move followed by a quick bow as an expression of appreciation. Then of course you'd all laugh about it.

I’m afraid this is the correct answer. My sister who I am helping In the bay is Nurse at UCSF which serves the homeless, said for the first 6 months of the pandemic the hospital was a ghost town because it was reserved for Covid only.Hilariously, I have not been able to convince her the pandemic was fake.

Maybe I'm just cynical, but I think this is just another hamster wheel. It divides itself into smaller pieces: propaganda or not, actors or not, hospitals empty or not, nurses heroes or not, covid deadly or not, etc, etc. It does not address the main issue - that the nurses 'went along with' the charade. Either they actually participated in it or let actors into their units for filming. They either enjoyed the ego boost and popularity brought about by the videos or were repulsed by it. Those with integrity quit. Those that didn't went on to commit some of the most atrocious acts I've ever heard of. In my opinion, the buck stops with them. There were a few nurse whistleblowers that came forward during that time but they shifted the blame to legal policies and protocols such as end of life drugs, DNR's etc. We must remember that no matter who formulated the covid policies, it was the nursing staff that administered them.Ultimately, it will be their responsibility to look inward to find out why they made the decisions that they made and whether or not they would make the same decisions in the future.

Strong agree. You can only imagine how deeply strained the relationship between myself and my nurse sister became during covid. She is in the Hospital bed not 5' feet from me right this moment, recovering from elective surgery.I am here in the Bay Area, sitting in recovery, away from my family, in part to try and repair our relationship, even though I know she has been the working for the baby jabbers and trusts the science.Family first.

My first venture as a high school graduate was in the medical field. Trained on the job, classes every week and 2 yrs later, tested and emerged with a Certificate that allowed me to work professionally at any hospital. It was this experience that allowed me to see that everyone's level of compassion was not the same. I realized that not only could fellow technicians be insensitive but those in higher positions of authority could too, even Doctors. I worked in the field for only 1 1/2 years afterwards before going to college... I decided working with numbers was much easier on my conscience. I believe that compassion can't be learned in any course of study, rather it must be 'absorbed' during childhood. I also think that, like anything else, it can be eroded over time. I didn't work long enough to say when, or if, I would have become calloused, or to what degree. Maybe personal attitude changes come about so slowly that you don't even notice a change. I was fortunate enough to have two blaring examples of insensitivity that brought it to the forefront and made me change my field of study. I agree that we must never give up on family or loved ones ... you never know which seed you plant will come to fruition. I hope your sister has a speedy recovery!
