@tomjennings @ai6yr The issue being, ball hits are 20db louder than tennis, and you get 8 or more players at courts where there’s infrastructure made for 2 players…

@tomjennings @ai6yr Thankfully, I just occasionally drive through Carmel—so not sure! And yeah, I think the rich-enough part is the key. I think some of the reactions elsewhere have included sound barriers on the surrounding fences (which would go a long way). And encouraging walking/cycling in would solve part of my problem with all the extra Mercedes/Tesla/Bentley(!!) filling up the limited street parking in my corner of SoCal
