Small climate friendly step, convinced the others in the family to switch to a Japanese-style electric kettle/water boiler for boiling water, which will reduce gas stove usage (less natural gas usage and also less inside air pollution from the stove). We drink a lot of tea and coffee on a daily basis. #climate

Side benefit of this particular kettle, is the heat settings for different kind of tea. The tea brewed from this actually was far better than the usual (green tea that is favored by others here), I apparently have been boiling it too hot. 176F setting on this is perfect for green tea. Apparently every kind of tea has a specific temperature (which I knew... but I never bothered to test it, because it's a PITA when you are doing it on a gas stove). https://store.zojirushi.com/collections/water-boilers-warmers
