       I have scoured my files and cannot find the original Ableton project files for a track that I published back in 2022 titled "Summit" 😔 I was a little nostalgic about some of the pieces I made back then and wanted to go back and see if I could take a stab at remastering (perhaps mixing them again). Sadly, this one will probably have to stay as is. #MusicProducerProblems #Musodon #ElectronicMusic

       @CCirco@ravenation.clubAFAIR Live has this excellent "Collect all and save" thing — which places copies of everything the project depends on in project's own directory. Doing it all the time for WIP projects makes little sense because soon you might find yourself with hundreds of duplicates of stuff that is already in you instrument library — but it's a wise thing to do before archiving finished projects.I have a few projects with missing parts myself, but luckily, I still have full hard disk images of my computers from two decades ago and the fact that all this stuff is theoretically there somewhere gives me a warm fuzzy feeling 😁

       Update: I found it! I am shocked, over the moon and feel like I have just found $20 in the back of a couch (well... probably better than that actually)!!! Now, I can do some work on getting this track updated with a new mix and work on the mastering. For all of you who have gone through this - I hope you find your lost creations as well 🙏

       @m0xEE thanks for reaching out with this. Definitely another layer of preservation to look into. Thankfully I am more diligent with my project files now, compared to my 2020-2022 era :)
