Sometimes I genuinely don't want to use Twitter/X anymore. The amount of race wars, gender wars, and religious wars I see on this platform is beyond ridiculous. It's incredibly disheartening how many people fall for pathological traps designed to have you waste hours of your day doomscrolling and pretending to be some type of keyboard warrior for internet brownie points.I stand by the sentiment that Twitter/X is an awful website when it comes to genuine discourse.

@DingusTheStrix In the end "online social discourse" has very little impact upon the most important things in the real world. I never saw an argument on social media pay bills,fix utilities,or cure serious ailments! A lot of online drama is just "noise" that exhausts us and makes us feel overwhelmed. In truth it is often not relevant to us on a larger scale.

@DingusTheStrix Yeah,Dim nailed it. Not to say you cannot make friends on X or occasionally do something that's a net positive using social media as the catalyst. But there's spiritual radiation of collective darker-psyche-hive-mind human maliciousness you absolutely have to disconnect from once in awhile to keep your soul and mind intact!
