@lain@lain.com one time a friend asked me if I knew anything about water heaters, I went to his house and "repaired it" in about 30 seconds, you just needed to light the little torch it has since it's gas-based, he had been using cold water for most of winter

@lain@lain.com back at grandma's we didn't have a water heater, as we had 30~C year round, the only time we could wash with warm water was when the sun was heating the roof more than usual, you could get about a minute of warmish water
