       @SuperDicq @js I think you (and the blog post) may be getting at why I find it so refreshing to use software from F-Droid and desktop Linux repositories.

You might like the software now, but at any point the developer could decide they like earning a lot of money more than they like it being useful.If you want to remove that power from the developer and put into your hands instead, you have to start using free software exclusively.
