Final frontier for Linux gaming's unseen levels? Kernel-level anticheat ❌ However; kernel-level ac isn't as crushingly common as painted out to be. ◉ ~10-15% of multiplayer games use kernel-level AC.◉ All PC games lumped in (single-player) the usage is in the spheres of ~4%.Kernel-level ac: full control over the system / its information - ultimate rootkit. Another way is needed - be it Linux OR Windows. It is not worth the risk just to play a game?#anticheat #Linux #Windows #kernel #PC

@Linux For me it's not worth it. I am happy with the games I can play, which are the most. I must admit that I am a bit sad that I can't play Battlefield 6. But have found great alternatives

@Linux Not worthy. If you need/want the very low latency of being close to resources ensuring fair play, get a console or a valve console or set up something exclusively for gaming yourself. Isolate the risk.

@LinuxWasn't M$ going to remove kernel level access to almost everybody after the crowdstrike fiasco?
