I don't live in the same timezone as my friends yet I'd love to play tabletop/rpg games with them in an asynchronous way. (Or even other types of games).I don't want to rely on 3rd party/closed source services. I'd even be interested in something that can be played by text (for example via #deltachat) I don't know... does anybody have any experience with this, suggestions, games, tools, etc.... #gaming #games #rpg #tabletop

@delegatevoid looking at the bot libraries can lead you on a good path here. https://github.com/deltachat-bot this is the place to start. really for async/turn-based games tracking state is going to be vital. i've got this idea to make a game similar to a cli-mud but haven't had time. do you have any reference implementation i could look at?

@jae oh yeah. Now that you mention it... A bot would help and I already did some csharp bindings for it. Thnx for the tip.

@delegatevoid if you publish this, let me know. if you're creating common/agnostic interfaces i could use it too.
