It just makes it harder for poor people & hobbyists wanting to repair to obtain affordable & repair-friendly cars.It's way better to repair than constantly trash and buy all new and there's a loophole where you are likely trashing something way more energy efficient since new cars aren't exactly made to be efficient anymore (they're just big & heavy).It seems like the aim is to benefit the car industry rather than the environment.

       @Neotheta Oh god y'all are doing Cash for Clunkers now???That was a monumentally stupid program that we had here in America during Obama's tenure.All it did was benefit the auto industry. It tookma whole lot of otherwise perfectly serviceable but aged cars off the road permanently, and it affected 90s cars the most. :(
