Do you have a "home lab"? -- non-cloud services running within your home. Are the SSDS/disks encrypted?

@progo I run my zfs pool on a pair of disks that are full disk encrypted with luks. All of my VM images are stored in this pool, so I "only" have to enter a passphrase once every reboot. None of those VMs are mission-critical though, so in the unlikely event that a reboot is needed, it can wait until I get home. One of these days I'll probably setup some sort of remote passphrase input, but you know, priorities.

@rfgee more or less same thing here. My Proxmox host emails me when it reboots, so I know to login via SSH and finish startup by running a script that prompts me for the password and does the rest. (Email not hosted here -- I use Fastmail.)

@IceCubeSoup @rfgee Yeah I've used FastMail for over 10 years. No complaints. They used to have "Report Phishing" and "Report Spam" in different places, but they FINALLY fixed that in the past year or so.Their web app is so good, I can't be bothered to try to get any other client to work; I don't feel like I need to. (Don't need offline access.)
