       The uncanny valley is defined as something that closely resembles something we recognise but is ever so slightly off. It is that disparity in our perception that gives off this unnerving feeling.        @slopsec @Cara The uncanny valley is a pychology slop catch phrase invented by a japanese roboticist, not an actual thing that exists. There is no evidence to suggest he studied psychology & even if he did it would still be just as retarded. I like how there's even graphs for it for some reason because some super geniuses decided if they drew a picture of some lines going up and down that it magically generated precise data relating to the perceptual experiences of all the people without the pesky need to ask most of them about their experience.
