@Eiregoat To be fair, I see this kind of views on both sides. To a lot of rightists, leftists are only blue haired obese women, or child molester men in a dress, and both are only voting left because they want their worst sides to be glorified.Things are rarely this simple.

I don't think it's quite as even as that. In most areas of the west progressivism is the establishment, to the point where you see a lot of left wingers say things like "gay marriage isn't a political position, it's just common sense."The non-progressives in their lives have been intimidated into silence so they rarely encounter any opposition to their views in real life. Hence the willingness to dismiss opposing views online as "russian bots."The reverse isn't true. Right wingers are surrounded by real examples of progressive leftists every day. I don't think many of them genuinely believe they're just some small weird abstract minority.

@Eiregoat How does that work ? Assuming the opinion is roughly divided in two halves, if leftists only go in leftist groups, and oust right wingers from there, rightists must have their own echo chambers too. I haven't seen a lot of loud leftists around these part of the web for example :p At my work, I used to be "the weirdo leftist", some people would make fun of me for recycling, or even getting vaccinated. (that's an actual true story)

Well, maybe things were different there, but in most western workplaces failing to go along with the current thing was dangerous. Actively speaking against it was a firing offence.Same goes for hobby groups. Progressive social campaigns were the norm in sports clubs and other conventions and tournaments. The right gradually learned to shut up in public and save their comments for anonymous forums.

Most aren't true believers they're just lazy and/or cowards. Sorry but it's true. We're all lazy and cowards in specific ways and braver than we think in others. but the point is, they are cowards and their cowardice and sloth is not having the brass ones to call bullshit on the apparent Liberal world order. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. The Liberal agenda larps as being all powerful and THE opinion, and normies prop it up even if by their avoidance of challenging it, and so it is true. What a fascinating game of smoke and mirrors society is.

As in NPC theory? I think it's largely true, most people follow the herd.Furthermore I think it's reinforced by dysgenics. We spent most of the middle ages executing free thinkers and rebels, to the point where the sheep outnumber us.Back when we lived as cattle raiding tribes sheeplike behaviour was actively punished.
