It used to be the second religion in the sense that the Russian empire conquered a bunch of small asian khanates and had them pay tribute. It was never a common religion in western/european russia until Putin.

Only objection I have is the idea that the Germans interned the jews in order to enslave them. They interned them because they could no longer ship them to Palestine, so they put them somewhere safe (but also unable to subvert) for the duration of the war.They gave them conditions that would make aryans thrive but the jews still managed to turn it into a disease ridden hellhole. The factories existed only to help fund the camps.Furthermore, take the Cap Arcona incident where the RAF divebombed a German hospital ship and strafed everyone who escaped into the water. They believed they were the families of high ranking Germans, but instead they killed off a few thousand jews who were being evacuated from the Lithuanian encirclement.The Germans were evacuating jews ahead of their own soldiers. That alone proves they had no ill intentions towards them beyond wanting them deported.
