       what's amazed me, ever since i tried faceapp for the first time back before i began transitioning, is how natural i look when femme, at least to myself. all my expressions suddenly make sense! they literally never did before; every single time i saw my face in a picture, it looked so unnatural to me. and i did often draw attention just by existing.the contrast is still hard to fully take in. i still feel like i look conspicuous and odd. but like... judging both from what i can see with my own eyes, and from how i notice others look at me (if at all), this actually is the least conspicuous i've ever looked! apparently transitioning made me unremarkable (yay!)
