       For years, centre-right neoliberal parties have been demonising "straight, white men", playing right into the hands of conservatives. Who then blamed this divisive bullshit on the "radical left", "media elites" (ie journalists) and "college professors" (ie academia). Using the resulting suspicion of everything associates with the left to recruit working class men into crypto-fascist networks.But like the song says, the problem has never been "straight, white men", but scared old (*rich*) men.
