       The warning is timely.  But some of the folks like Vint Cerf became part of the issue when we remember how we had to fight to keep .org affordable.But again it's a reflection of big tech.  Our early internet pioneers flirted with VCs and capital not that long ago.So it's on us to save the open web.  No one is coming to save it.        Here's the overall timeline of the save .org campaign.I forgot it was so recent.  But I do remember being incredibly disappointed in Vint Cerf.  But our internet now is the outcome of desires like this.
