I haven't followed conversations about #Zoom and AI because it hasn't been in my sphere, but it looks like we're going to start using it at work. Outside the day job, I am a voice artist / audiobook narrator. I cannot let corporations record my voice and use it for AI training or I lose my side job. (I also object on multiple grounds.)Answered! Thanks to @james for the answer (good news!), in the replies! (1/n)Thank you. 1/n

I am asking about this precisely because I don't know what I don't know, and this is a topic I haven't needed to stay current on in the past.I don't need my feelings managed and I don't need lectures, I just need accurate, current information about what Zoom does with user voices and what my security/privacy options are.Thank you for understanding the assignment, and thanks very much to anyone who can help! 2/n

"The current terms would not allow the company to tap user-generated content like video and chat for AI training without a customer opting in. However, once a meeting host agrees, other participants would have to leave if they don’t want to consent."1. I found this article about Zoom from 2023. Is it still valid?2. If yes, how does a host opt out?3. How can I *verify* as a participant that a host has opted out?https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-zoom-ai-privacy-terms-of-service-06ff47e47439c2173390a4ca1389f652#Zoom
