@MongoMonkey Well, it's a bit difficult to get a medical license in a new state when you have to admit on your application that you have lost one previously. That triggers all sorts of red flags. 'Difficult' does not mean 'impossible', but then the whole issue of hospital privileges comes up . . .

@egirlyuumimain @MongoMonkey Licensing boards are very skittish creatures, especially in these situations. So are hospital administrators. I hear what you are saying but it is not that simple. There was a reason 99%+ of MDs could be cowed during fagcine hysteria with the simple implied threat of pulling their licenses
