       #emacssigh, how do i disable a global minor mode buffer- or mode-locally. tried the answers on stackexchange, no dice.i want to disable pixel-scroll-precision-mode in mastodon-image buffers so mouse scrolling works.

       @mousebot My recommendation, sans more information, is to create a .dir-locals.el file.  Inside of it, you put statements to disable the features you want to override. Ex: (when (string= major-mode "c-mode") (c-mode))For minor modes, you need to find the interesting mode in the minor-mode-alist and then follow the preceding example.
