@stux One issue with #bsky is that there is basically one appview, so moderation is mostly centralized. IMO the appview should only moderate unlawful behavior. Many more appview servers are needed to prevent a single point of failure, not variations on moderation. Moderation should be left to the user.

@stux @cmccullough I totally support refusing to allow such accounts on your server or because of the way BS is not decentralized and thus paying for the admin to put out their bullshit, refusing to use their services.but outside of the abuse they might tag your users with, what's the risk of federating with them? we don't limit browsing to horrible sites on the web. if we want a big fedi (I understand many do not), we need to change the expectation that conservatives will be defederated.
