       @rms imo the fsf is disconnected with reality. nothing u have said is wrong, but the expense to switch is too high and people usually scoff when being asked if they would like to switch to foss software, even with OSS enthusiasts. instead IT departments would rather pay someone else to handle their job for them, leading to vendor lock in and people being used to that flowinstead if there was a freedom ladder, it’d be much more conductive than “my way or the highway”
