Cura is clearly based on bus technology.half the time when I try to launch it, it shows the splash screen, then vanishes. no matter how long I wait, it won't appear.until I try to launch it again, at which point I get two copies of it launched

@foone this sounds exactly like the buses here in victoria, so I think you're right.

@fooneIf you disable the USB serial plugin, this no longer happens.I'm not joking.

@fooneBefore I rompers off to orcaslicer and never looked back I found it was the cura engine process crashing then the second time you launched it the first UI instance latched on to the new engine as did the new UI. Closing the new UI then left the new engine with the old UI.Ugh. s/old/first/g s/new/second/gThis information is useless and only provided as a curiosity. The suggestion to disable the USB connection plugin is far more useful. Go read that instead.

@rolenthedeep@rattodon.nexus @foone@digipres.club oh, do you both have fancy mechanical keyboards that expose a serial line over USB?(it's surprisingly difficult to distinguish between those and a printer…)
