Just got this ThinkPad T560 back to its owner. Had Windows 10 on it. I backed up the data, installed Linux Mint Debian Edition 7, put the data back on, updates, installed Brave Browser. Another laptop saved from having to execute .exe programs.#linux #thinkpad #t560 #linuxmint #debian

Also updated it from 8GB to 16GB memory. It already had a 250GB Samsung EVO SATA SSD, probably from when I originally refurbished and sold this laptop.

I find that there's something objectionable with all browsers, so it is a matter of choosing the least objectionable to you. I used and recommended Firefox for years (and left it installed on this laptop, with the UblockOrigin extension). What browser do you recommend? #brave #firefox #web
