       @futurebird "exotic" usually means computerized, possibly with outputs that are nonlinear, and that used to be illegal, or will be in the future.Often "meta" bets that depend on several underlying instruments.If you are buying "exotic financial instruments" you can lose more money than you spend, but if you are selling them, you can make more upside than their price.
