       IDK who hasan is but I guess there's some dog drama circulating about him keeping his dog on a dog bed. Since I don't know a lot about the situation I thought it would be a great time to give my opinion on it.I don't see it as any different than keeping a dog in a crate or kenneled while at work. But also, why not just crate or kennel the dog? Why can't the dog walk around? If you don't want it messing with your stream stuff, why not put the dog in another room? Why does it NEED to be in the room it can't walk around in?The use of shock collar, even just on the vibrate setting, should not be necessary here. He is just asking the dog to 'place' (get on that elevated bed), it doesn't require an electric collar. It just needs a verbal cue. Who even told them to use a shock collar?Anyway. It's just stupid. At least from my POV

       Aside from being unnecessarily strict, the other issue is that he had been streaming for over four hours when he punished the dog for leaving her bed. In some previous streams it had been longer, like 6 hours.

       @Eiregoat @Tepid_Tapir for the record, i have no issue with shock/vibration collars so long as they are used for valid reasons. it's for setting reasonable boundaries, like you would with cattle and an electric fence. NOT to increase views

       @Eiregoat @Tepid_Tapir punishment depends on the infraction. being aggro against people vs being aggro against livestock vs wondering off the property vs not obeying commands deserve different responses
