@Buster6775 I'm almost to the point of no longer calling myself a libertarian because of the creatures who now use that name. Us actual libertarians are, if not a dying breed, a far less visible one than we used to be.

@billblake2018 Iām struggling to find my place politically, I see myself as having classical libertarian values. Freedom of expression, freedom of association, freedom of enterprise but with balanced accountability and personal responsibility - perhaps a touch conservativeā¦ but the accounts I see on X calling themselves ālibertarianā are post-ironic dude-bro religious zealots and trad-marriage blowhards. Not much libertarian about that. I even flirted with anarchism but I overcame that fever.

@Buster6775 I agree that libertarianism is way too focused on liberty, forgetting that liberty without responsibility is basically just an adolescent wet dream. In the real world, no person--or society--can have liberty without responsibility; soon enough reality will smack down that sort of foolishness.
