@ai6yr so I don’t know if iOS allows it, but for my Mac before I upgraded, I used open core legacy patcher to allow me to install newer operating systems. I had to do it a year or two ago because the newest TurboTax wouldn’t work in my existing legacy operating system. I briefly searched and didn’t have any luck, but there may be a iOS version although compared to macOS OS seems way more locked down

@cvvhrn @ai6yr No such thing exists for iOS. The boot process is way more locked down, and even on devices where chipset exploits exist, no ports of newer iOS have been made - it would probably be way too much work for way too little reward.(I do not know enough about x86 vs ARM boot processes to confidently elaborate further, therefore I won't.)Anyway, OCLP is neat, it's essentially hackintoshing a real Mac.
