Back when I was in university, it was cool to use Eclipse IDE. It was slow, it had non-native UI, it consumed all the RAM and more, but it had some pretty decent code editing features that seemed novel back then. And it had all the plugins that would add editor support for things from C++ to Java. Eventually, we gave up on it because it became too complex.*Eyes VSCode* yeah, so software development is kind of cyclic.

@farcaller I was actually surprised when decided to play a bit with Garmin SDK to build my watch face (had unluck to update the one I used to use before that, and that was a terrible mistake), and the docs were "here comes VSCode extension", not another 20 years old Eclipse fork as I expected.
