21 years old this April. (picture) Suddenly gone yesterday.Was out looking for him until late in the evening.Realising that he's probably gone as in dead. Dreamt about him laying comfortable on some tree branches in the apple tree, looking down on us, in his own calm and peculiar way.Without making a kg. Many thought he was deaf, but he was just cool and didn't bother to care about noise.

@DrFell Last seen sitting on the road behind the house, dirt road, only for a few cars.Another cat was there bothering him.He is too old to fight. Kind of senile. Not sure if he even care to be afraid.So anything, he was chased away by that cat or he got run over by a slow car or he got senile and wondered of...

@DrFell Those signs were there. But for some reason only white fur that he has on his stomach and inside hind legs.But I know where the other cat was going of to. He is usually afraid of us, humans since we have tried to scare him of.I will go and look in that direction.

@kurt @EvolLove So true, it's deeply bothersome when they wonder off like that. Sometimes you get you get lucky and they return. They will hide out from danger and wait til the coast is clear. Sit in a tree for days, so the coyotes won't get them. He might come back if he's not too old to forget where home is.

@DrFell @kurt Last half year he has mostly been walking in the exact same paths, mostly around the house.But even when something has happened and he is afraid, he usually don't go far and he listen when I call for him.I will look again today. Even if he is gone I want to know what happened to him.

@EvolLove @kurt Good luck I hope you find out. My wife still has the fur we found looking for our cat . It's sad when you imagine what happened. We looked for his carcas but no luck. Good thing.

@EvolLove Yikes that is a terribly bad sign , the stomach and hind legs fur. That's when 2 cats get locked up and sometimes fight to the death. They scratch the belly until they bleed out. If he could break free and get high in a tree he can wait.

@morogthetiny I'm afraid someone run him over. And failed to report it.Narrow private road where 2 car's can't even meet12 miles/h roadEither someone drove way too fast or someone got angry with an old cat and just run him over. This is my mums house and she think she heard a car honking, that woke her up and she went straight to the door, no cat. Got dressed and looked for him for 1h.Accidents happen. But at least tell about it. Cat, all alone dying slowly in the rain. Makes me sad.
