       @FrankauLuxIt sounds very good. The problem as I see it is not t technical, it's social. We have good, some great, tools but few people make the effort to change. Or that's how I see it; and I know I don't really know. But it is fact far too many people I actively participate in services like Facebook and Amazon that harm them, and yet won't stop. Unencrypted xmpp would be safer than instagram. Identify a solution to that, and then we would really have something.  @jon_bon @joho

       @tomjennings @jon_bon @joho Unfortunately you are 200% right. Moving people from whatsapp to signal is already a battle here (in europe) where we are pretty conscious about data privacy.I was both flabbergasted and horrified when I was in Indonesia a couple of weeks ago that there when they say they will text/call you, they mean whatsapp. EVERYTHING works with whatsapp. When I asked them what happened the day it went down, I had blank stares - not to metion privacy...
